Wire Identification Device and Line Locator
The 500XP probe receiver combines precise wire identification and LAN cable tracing with a simple line locating function. Three basic settings help the operator define the receive filter and adjust the device functionality accordingly. With the standard broadband filter, all frequencies from 200 Hz to 3 kHz can be received and displayed. Selectable filters (comb filter for 50/60 Hz harmonics as well as precision filter) support the operator during sensitive measurement tasks. To perform successful wire identification, we recommend using the 77HP tone generator from Tempo Communications (formerly Greenlee).
