AQUA CLEAN 2000 (Crystal Clear Drinking Water)

Aqua Clean 2000 was developed to guarantee high-quality and clean drinking water anywhere in the world. Contaminants are reliably retained. Dissolved substances, minerals, and salts can pass through the membrane and therefore remain in the water!
The greatest advantage of ultrafiltration is the germ-free quality of the filtered water. The pores of the ultrafiltration membrane are so tiny that bacteria and even viruses are too large to pass through the filter.

This technology was developed as part of a joint project between the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna (BOKU), SFC Umwelttechnik Salzburg, and Aqua-Systems.

THE OPERATING PRINCIPLE

Contaminated tap water flows into the cartridge and passes through organic hollow-fiber membranes with micropores. The hollow fibers are wrapped around a support structure and provide a filtration surface area of 6m².
During the filtration process, dirt particles accumulate on the outer surface of the hollow fibers, while clean water exits through the inner side of the fibers. The purified water is collected and discharged accordingly.
Removes: Iron, turbidity, viruses, bacteria, parasites, legionella, Escherichia coli, and even noroviruses
