Duct Rods & Sewer Sondes – push rods, sondes & accessories
Push rods position the sonde at the target point; the sonde emits a locating signal that a surface receiver tracks with depth readout. Choose rods with suitable diameter/bend radius and sondes with the right frequency for your network.

Selection guide
- Task: Route tracing, blockage pinpointing, verifying branches/service laterals.
- Rod & length: Match rod diameter/length to pipe size, bend radius and distance.
- Frequency plan: Use 512 Hz as a sewer standard; switch bands if interference occurs.
- Interfaces: Choose M-thread adapters (e.g. M8/M10) to fit your sonde and reel.
Field tip
Cross-check the route and confirm depth on the receiver. If signals are noisy, change frequency or adjust the coupling point.
