The EML250-ID is a professional electronic RFID marker locator designed for the precise locating and management of underground infrastructure. The unit has been specifically developed for applications requiring accurate positioning data, marker identification, and digital data collection.
Thanks to its integrated read/write capability, the EML250-ID can read and write unique serial numbers and custom stored information on OmniMarker-ID and Spike Marker-ID markers. OmniMarker-ID markers can be read from distances of up to 5 ft (approx. 1.5 m), while Spike Marker-ID markers can be read from distances of up to 3.3 ft (approx. 1 m).
In addition, the unit passively locates all industry-standard marker balls across nine standard frequencies. All read and write actions are automatically logged, ensuring complete documentation and traceability.
The EML250-ID is compatible with the Locator Link Mobile App, allowing easy transfer of data to GIS systems or cloud storage. By connecting external GNSS devices such as the BadElf Flex Mini, marker positions can be mapped with enhanced accuracy.
An easy-to-read color LCD ensures excellent visibility under varying field conditions. The rugged housing with IP65/IP55 protection provides reliable resistance against dust and water. Thanks to its rechargeable power system, the unit is ideal for continuous professional field operation.
