The FlexiSonde features an extremely flexible and robust fiberglass rod with several copper strands embedded in its core. This allows the fiberglass rod to be directly energized with a Radiodetection transmitter**.
To determine the course of a pipe or duct, the fiberglass rod can be pushed to the end of the pipe, then energized with a transmitter and located using a receiver.
**When using the Tx-5(B) or Tx-10(B) transmitters, certain power limitations apply. Details are available upon request.
