High-performance magnets to be used together with folding levers APS90 – APS80, with the LK70 trolley, and with mini excavators or cranes for lifting very heavy ferrous manhole covers.
The magnets provide a guaranteed rated* lifting capacity of: PM400 – 400 kg, PM500 – 500 kg, PM1000 – 1000 kg; under ideal ferrous-surface conditions the achievable lifting capacity is much higher. Using these magnets ensures quick and simple operations under absolutely safe conditions. The magnetic force is activated/deactivated by an ON/OFF lever that allows immediate control and easy release after use. The lever is equipped with a safety push button to prevent accidental deactivation. The magnets can also be used for lifting with the arm of mini excavators or truck cranes — typical applications for the PM1000.
* Attraction-force tests carried out on a C36 steel base with 18 mm thickness. The attraction forces may vary depending on the thickness and material of the lifted base. Tolerance ± 5 %.
** For safety reasons, the stated lifting capacity is only one third of the value measured during strength tests. These are industrial magnets whose lifting capacity features a threefold safety margin over the recommended load. ITALIFTERS magnets must only be used to lift manhole covers and the lifting height must not exceed 30 cm above road surface.
