The u-LOCATE Set / Kit combines the u-LOCATE receiver with the matching Genny signal transmitter and a transport bag to form a complete locating system for cable and pipe detection on construction sites.
The u-LOCATE receiver combines the ergonomics and handling of Radiodetection’s high-end cable locators with the robust, proven construction of the C.A.T4 series. This results in intuitive operation and high working comfort, designed for daily use under real jobsite conditions.
When used together with the Genny transmitter, the set enables active locating of energized lines as well as passive detection of live power cables. Clear directional indicators, audible feedback, and depth indication support safe and repeatable localization of underground infrastructure such as cables and metallic pipelines.
The set is intended for construction companies, civil engineering, municipalities, landscaping (GaLaBau), and installation or service contractors who regularly perform excavation work and must reliably avoid utility strikes. The included transport bag protects the components and ensures safe, organized transport between job sites.

Optional / depending on version:
The u-LOCATE+ additionally offers a sonde mode (512 Hz) for locating sondes or inspection cameras in non-metallic pipes or concrete ducts (up to approx. 4.5 m, depending on sonde type).
