MicroProbe MPL7-33
The MicroProbe MPL7-33 from Vesala has been developed for the calibration of fiber optic microducts and for locating water pipes. It is designed for microduct pipes and water pipes with an inner diameter of 10mm or larger.
Technical key features
The probe has a diameter of 7.5mm and a length of 114mm. The MicroProbe is flexible in the middle and can pass bends with a minimum radius of 190mm. The maximum locating depth of the probe in plastic pipes is 5.1m. The probe becomes active only after inserting the battery; it can operate for up to 6 hours, depending on temperature. The MicroProbe MPL7-33 has an M5 or M6 thread (depending on selection) (Female) and is protected to IP67 / IK07.
Attention: The MicroProbe MPL7-33 is waterproof up to 4 bar.
Calibration and pipe locating with the MicroProbe MPL7-33
The MicroProbe MPL7-33 is mounted to a duct rod using the M5 or M6 thread (depending on selection) (Female). Optionally, the probe can also be mounted laterally on the push rod to protect it when hitting an obstacle.
