NC-500 NETCAT PRO 2
The NC-500 is distinguished by its ease of use, robustness, and extensive device upgrade options. The NETcat is not only a system for wire and cable identification, it also includes TDR functionality as well as cable and wire testing capabilities in conjunction with TEMPO wire identification receivers.
Automatic menu navigation assists the user in testing shielded multi-core cable connections (STP), unshielded multi-core cable connections (UTP), or coaxial cable connections. The device can be upgraded with seven additional remote test terminators (Remote), including a carrying case (NC-510). This allows up to 8 coax or RJ45 cable connections to be identified and assigned.
The internal note function (non-volatile memory) makes it easier for the technician to assign stored measurement results. Another feature is the high-contrast display with touch function (operable with finger or stylus). The device is supplied with a 9V battery included.
