Commercial Video Inspection
The flexitrax™ P550c controller is designed entirely for ease of use and supports simple and efficient creation of inspection reports. Intuitive menus and dedicated function keys guide you through your current inspection so you can move on to the next job without delay.
Thanks to MSCC3, 4, or 5-compliant reports and integrated Wi-Fi, you can share your reports directly on site via email or Dropbox. Alternatively, you can simply copy them to a USB stick using one of the three USB ports.
Your colleagues and/or customers can follow your video inspection in real time in a standard web browser on their local connected device (e.g., smartphone or tablet).
The flexitrax P550c system offers an intuitive graphical user interface, a full PC keyboard (regional options available), and a choice of 6 different menu languages with integrated user manuals upon startup. Context-sensitive ATM keys on both sides of the display provide access to user-friendly menus, while 8 additional keys allow direct control of the most commonly used functions (e.g., recording or zeroing the cable).
The flexitrax P550c features a 12.1-inch HD display with 1280x800 pixels for clear and sharp images, as well as an internal 128 GB memory capable of storing more than 2 months of video recordings under normal operating conditions¹. The integrated battery and robust IP55-rated housing ensure reliability and ease of use even in the toughest environments.
¹ Normal usage is defined as 100 minutes of video recording per day, 5 days per week.
The flexitrax P550c includes report templates supporting several standards, such as WRc MSCC3, 4, or 5, or your own customized templates. Reports are available immediately upon completion of the inspection.
Optional WinCan compatibility² is available either at the time of purchase of the flexitrax P550c system or later as an add-on option.

- Choose between a cost-effective manual cable reel or an upgraded electric reel – each with up to 1000' / 305 m of cable.
- Select from three interchangeable cameras and two powerful tractors designed to operate in the toughest underground conditions.
- A wide range of wheels, camera lifts, and tires optimizes your on-site configuration for the pipeline network being inspected, allowing tractor-mounted cameras to inspect pipelines from 4" / 100 mm up to 60" / 1500 mm.
- The flexitrax P550c can also be equipped with Pearpoint pushrod cameras, enabling inspection of even narrow pipes of 2" / 50 mm or smaller.

WRc MSCC 3, 4 and 5-compatible reports and condition classification codes are already integrated into the controller and are generated automatically.
Share inspection reports in docx, xml or WinCan3 formats directly on site with your customers or office via email or Dropbox (Wi-Fi access point required). You can also export these files together with photos (JPG) and videos (MP4) to a USB stick.

Easy Operation in the Field
Thanks to intuitive joystick control of tractor and camera functions and dedicated one-touch controls, the flexitrax P550c system is easy to operate and allows you to control any combination of reel, tractor, camera and lighting. The controller also integrates a Mimic® display – a tool for visualizing and simply controlling the system camera direction.

Thanks to the wide range of compatible equipment, the flexitrax P550c can perform continuously centered inspections of pipelines, from flexible 100' / 30 m pushrod cable with 1" / 25 mm camera up to 60" / 1500 mm cross-sections using large equipment.
Clear, High-Quality Images
The flexitrax P550c system offers three high-resolution tractor cameras (forward view only, pan & tilt, or pan & tilt with 10x optical zoom), each with ultra-bright white LED illumination for different pipe materials. An optional external lighting head provides additional illumination for very large or dark pipes, ensuring clear visibility. The high-resolution 12.1" / 307 mm display, standard on all flexitrax P550c controllers, delivers crisp and clear images, making accurate observation easier.
Robust Design – Reliability Where You Need It
Designed for field use, the command module, reels and pushrod reels provide a robust buffer between the elements and your inspection data. Tractors and cameras can operate fully submerged and are waterproof to depths of up to 100 m (IP68).

The flexitrax P550c system is designed for durability and ease of maintenance. Many repairs can be carried out on site without complex pressurization tools or seal kits. In addition, Pearpoint’s global service network provides comprehensive service and repairs with short turnaround times.
