PAN Cable Finder Utility Locator – 16-fold + Digital Multimeter
The PAN cable finder is primarily used for assigning complex wiring systems in building technology. Using the signal transmitter (usually installed at a central point such as a main distribution board), an assignment signal with address coding is fed into each wire pair. The signal is injected galvanically by connecting the alligator clips mounted on the transmitter. To simplify operation, the respective supply cables to the alligator clips are numbered.
The receiver is connected galvanically with alligator clips to the other, open end of the energized wire(s). The display then shows the number of the alligator clip assigned at the starting point.
