Designed for use in demanding construction environments, this locating receiver can be combined with a wide range of sondes and accessories.
Locate and protect buried utilities
Safe excavation work depends on the accurate locating of underground utilities. Failure to correctly identify existing utilities can lead to damage to underground pipes and cables. This can result in service outages, costly repairs and project delays. In some cases, it may also cause accidents with injuries.

SuperC.A.T4+
Construction industry
Designed for use in demanding (civil) construction environments, this receiver can be used with a wide selection of sondes and accessories.
SuperCAT4+ locates a comprehensive range of active frequencies to support the detection and tracing of different cable types in various environments.
Higher frequencies, such as 131kHz or 65kHz, can be used for locating well-insulated, high-impedance utilities such as telecom cables or insulated pipe joints.
In environments where mainly telecommunications cables and high-impedance utilities are located, the T1-131 with the higher frequency range should be used. Alternatively, for a lower frequency range suitable for locating pipes, it can also be used with parameters 65 / 512 / 640.
SuperC.A.T4+ S
Water and pipeline industry
For detecting and tracing buried pipes, SuperCAT4+ S locates the widest range of sonde frequencies.
The S model locates a range of sonde frequencies tailored to the requirements of locating water and drainage pipes and ducts. Low-frequency sondes are suitable for cast iron pipes. Higher frequency sondes are used for locating non-metallic pipes and ducts.
Additionally, for continuous signal tracing using a T1-512 or -640, an active 33kHz frequency can be coupled onto a FlexiTrace.
SuperC.A.T4+ CPS
Construction industry / Gas utilities
Optimised for oil and gas pipelines (metal pipes) carrying direct current for cathodic corrosion protection (CPS). The CPS signal can be located and traced without coupling an additional transmitter signal onto the line.
