Peak+™ Mode
Accuracy combined with speed
Combine the accuracy of peak locating with rapid surveying using the directional arrows in the new Peak+™ mode. With one button press, you can check for distortions by directly comparing null and peak.
Power Filters™
Locate and distinguish between power cables
When a signal transmitter cannot be connected, tracking individual power cables in complex networks becomes challenging. Conflicting or strong signals overlap, creating overwhelming signal patterns.
With a single button press, the harmonics of the 50Hz power signal are used to determine whether a signal originates from a single source or multiple cables, allowing you to trace and mark them.
TRUDEPTH™
Displays the depth when the locator is positioned correctly over the target cable, pipe, or sonde for maximum accuracy.
StrikeAlert™
StrikeAlert warns users of potentially shallow-buried cables and utilities (reduced coverage), both in Power and Active Line modes. Although regulations typically require network cables to be buried below a specific depth, unexpectedly shallow cables remain a common cause of strikes.
Fault Find (Sheath Fault Location)
Combine your RD7200 receiver with a frame antenna (accessory) to locate insulation faults on sheaths or insulated pipelines with pinpoint accuracy—down to 10 cm.
Maintenance and Calibration
Service Due Indicator and CALSafe™
The risks of delaying a locate due to expired calibration can be minimized. RD7200 units provide a 30-day countdown until the calibration certificate expires. The optional CALSafe feature can be configured to lock the device if calibration has expired, ensuring compliance with company policies. Maintenance intervals can also be customized within one year using the C.A.T Manager software.
eCert™
eCert enables a fast and thorough check of the key circuit components inside the RD7200 and validates their performance online against the original factory calibration.
eCert™ is activated via the C.A.T Manager software and provides a quick, comprehensive, and practical test of the central locating circuitry within the RD7200, validating device performance against factory calibration. After an eCert test run, a calibration certificate for the RD7200 can be printed or saved.
Additionally, C.A.T Manager can reproduce the original factory calibration certificate or any issued eCert at any time.
As part of a full maintenance package, Radiodetection also offers comprehensive factory servicing and recalibration options, including full inspection of mechanical integrity and functional testing.
