Which device is right for my application?
Is the EZ50 cord-blowing machine suitable for pipes in coiled form?Zeitler
No, the EZ50 cord-blowing machine is not suitable for this application.
For pipes in coiled form, we recommend the EZ15 cord-blowing machine.
Which front attachments with an integrated side channel are available for the EZ380?Zeitler
The EZ380 cord-blowing machine is compatible with all three front attachments featuring side channels with diameters of 140 mm, 200 mm and 320 mm.
What are the advantages of using blow-in shuttles?Zeitler
Our blow-in shuttles (blow-in pistons) offer numerous advantages:
- Insertion of cable pull cords and steel cables
- Safe operation
- Cleaning of pipes
- Ejecting water
- Calibration of pipes
- Low friction surface
- Reduced air consumption
- Easy retraction
- Simple maintenance
What are the key features of the innovative design of the blow-in shuttles?Zeitler
The design of our shuttles (injection pistons) not only minimises the friction surface area but also reduces the volume of air required, and they can be retracted easily.
What are the advantages of mechanical insertion devices over manual methods?Zeitler
Mechanical insertion tools save a great deal of time and energy and increase the efficiency of the installation process. They enable cables and fibre-optic rods to be inserted quickly, precisely and evenly, and are particularly useful for telecommunications installations, FTTx fibre-optic installations, and construction and infrastructure projects.
What types of rope can be blown into the EZ-SYSTEM-X?Zeitler
The blowing machine can blow in guide ropes, winch ropes, cable pull ropes and pull-through cords with a diameter of 1 to 8 mm.
Why are the cable guides available in brass and hardened steel?Zeitler
The brass version is suitable exclusively for feeding through cords and ropes.
The hardened steel rope guides are specifically designed for feeding through steel cables.
Which front attachments with an integrated side channel are available for the EZ300?Zeitler
Front attachments with diameters of 140 mm and 200 mm are available for the EZ300.
Can the EZ100 be retrofitted with a front attachment featuring an integrated side channel?Zeitler
A new version of the EZ100 is now available, meaning that the front section with side channel can be ordered at the same time as a new unit.
Retrofitting is not possible.
What are the advantages of the front attachment with an integrated side channel?Zeitler
This attachment allows the cord to be easily removed after the blowing-in process without having to cut it.
This offers clear advantages in use and also results in cost savings, as the cord can be reused.
Furthermore, the side-channel attachments, when used in combination with the split, hardened rope guides, can also be used for blowing in steel cables.
How far can a line be blown out using the EZ380?Zeitler
Thanks to the triple turbo power, a strong, constant airflow is generated, enabling line retrieval distances of over 2,000 metres – without the need for a compressor.
How easy is the EZ380 to use?Zeitler
The EZ380 cord-blowing machine is lightweight, compact, intuitive to use and quick to set up. Thanks to its simple operation, it is ideal for everyday use and for working in confined spaces.
Is it possible to use the EZ380 line-blowing machine to suck in the line?Zeitler
No, that is not possible. The risk of water being drawn in is too high. If water were to be drawn in, it would inevitably result in the destruction of the turbines. To prevent such damage and ensure the longevity of your EZ380, we have deliberately decided against this option.
Why does the EZ380 have triple turbo power?Zeitler
The EZ380 is fitted with three built-in high-performance turbines. These generate a powerful, steady airflow that ensures fast and reliable line retrieval, even over long distances. It is the most powerful line-blowing device available on the market.
