The Aqua M-200 is a high-performance, all-in-one system for professional leak detection in water supply networks. It combines preliminary location using a probe rod with the precise pinpointing of leaks using a geophone in a single system. When used in conjunction with the PWG (pulse wave generator), the pipe route can also be reliably located.
Probe rod for precise preliminary location
The probe rod developed by F.A.S.T GmbH is so sensitive that even the smallest leaks can be detected. The variable probe rod is ideal for listening to valve spindles and for checking water meters. Leaks are pinpointed precisely using the wind-protected ground bell. A tripod that can be mounted above the magnet also enables measurements to be taken on soft ground.
Central unit with high noise suppression
The central unit features well-designed functions for demanding field use:
- 6 analogue filters for optimum noise suppression
- Leak detection via average and minimum value functions
- PWG function for material-independent pipe location
- Large LCD for graphical and numerical display of the last 6 measurements
- Unique Adjust function for automatic optimisation of display sensitivity
- Headphone overload protection to prevent hearing damage
If the Aqua M-200D is not operated for one minute, it switches off automatically, thereby significantly extending its operating time. With average use, measurements can be taken for 10 weeks without recharging the battery. The status of the rechargeable batteries is clearly indicated by LEDs.

Safety information
Batteries
- Waste batteries must not be disposed of with unsorted waste (symbol: crossed-out wheeled bin). As an end-user, including as a business, you are legally required to return them separately: to a collection point, a distributor or a waste management company. You can also send waste batteries back to us; we take them back free of charge. Please send lithium batteries only after contacting support@semperdeal.com.
- Check batteries for damage before inserting; do not use leaking or damaged batteries and avoid skin contact.
- Remove batteries if the device is stored for a longer period.
Usage instructions
- Have repairs carried out only by qualified specialists or the manufacturer's service.
Disposal
- Waste electrical and electronic equipment must not be disposed of with unsorted waste (symbol: crossed-out wheeled bin); it is collected and recycled separately. This also applies to equipment used in a business. Hand in waste equipment at a collection point or to a waste management company, or send it back to us for disposal: CfT Group GmbH, Wiener Straße 99, 2514 Traiskirchen, Austria. We take care of the disposal.
- If the equipment contains batteries or lamps, remove them before returning it, provided this is possible without destroying them, and return them separately. Tape the terminals of lithium batteries first.
- If the equipment stores data (for example recordings, measurements or locations), delete any personal data before returning it. As the user, you are responsible for this.

After failing to locate the leak with correlation and geophones what are the next steps before considering relining?F.A.S.T
If traditional non-intrusive acoustic methods fail, our PipeMic Series can still yield impressive results. Since the PipeMic is introduced into the pipe itself it can pick up almost every noise, even with high ambient noise levels. Hydrogen tracer gas should also be considered as an application of last resort. This non-acoustic method can help to find even the smallest leaks and can be applied on empty and on live pipes (with our GasDiffuser).

How long does the H2 sensor last?F.A.S.T
There is medical grade, technical grade and industrial grade Hydrogen/Nitrogen gases. For leak detection the lowest and cheapest grade will suffice.

How can the mixing of the tracer gas into the water stream be improvedF.A.S.T
The goal is to have "high turbulence" and "high flow velocities" at the insertion point. Therefore, if a valve is close by it makes sense to partially shut it to create more turbulence.
