When tightened, the cord brake prevents the special cord from unwinding inside the cord cylinder. This allows the electrical conduit to be cleaned first by blowing in clean air, removing any dirt particles or water. It also enables verification of whether the electrical conduit is continuous and where it leads.
With the specially developed spray attachment, cable lubricant can be blown deep into the interior of the conduit while the cord brake is tightened.
