GA-72Cd Magnetic Locator
The GA-72Cd is the most rugged magnetic locator from Schonstedt. It is used for magnetic locating and the detection of ferromagnetic materials—allowing you to locate any object that produces its own magnetic field.
Originally, the GA-72Cd was developed for UXO clearance and mine detection. Therefore, the civilian version also includes an analog interface integrated into the headphone output, which can be connected to a data logger.
The entire device is made from highly durable polycarbonate/ABS. The GA-72Cd contains two (2) HeliFlux® sensors. The internal sensor spacing for magnetic field measurement is 35.6 cm. The maximum locating depth is up to 5.20 m (depending on the object).
The GA-72Cd features separate controls for volume and sensitivity. Both controls are located on the underside of the device. Sensitivity can be adjusted in four (4) levels. The strength of the detected signal is indicated both acoustically and visually via an LCD display.
