Zeitler EZ-100 Cord Injection Device

The Zeitler EZ-100 cord blowing machine is designed to insert pulling cords or locating cords into micro-tubes and is specifically tailored to fibre-optic cable laying technology. The EZ-100 can reliably blow cords into tubes with internal diameters ranging from 25 mm to 160 mm.

Applications of the EZ-100

The cord inserter is used in residential, commercial and industrial construction. It reliably bridges distances, such as from the distribution box into a house or building, thereby helping you to prepare your fibre-optic installations efficiently.

Operating requirements

To use the EZ-100 successfully, connect a standard compressor with an air delivery rate of 200 to 300 l/min to the blowing system. Please note that the compressor is not included as standard.

Contents

The EZ-100 is supplied as standard in a robust plastic case. Also included are:

  • 1 pipe connector each for external diameters of 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 25 and 32 mm
  • 1 compressed air hose, length 3 m
  • 1 base for the universal nozzle
  • 1 box containing various spare parts and a pair of scissors
  • 4 rolls of special cord (DN 1 mm (approx. 900 m per roll)), tensile strength 24 kg

Usage instructions

  • Have repairs carried out only by qualified specialists or the manufacturer's service.

Disposal

  • Waste electrical and electronic equipment must not be disposed of with unsorted waste (symbol: crossed-out wheeled bin); it is collected and recycled separately. This also applies to equipment used in a business. Hand in waste equipment at a collection point or to a waste management company, or send it back to us for disposal: CfT Group GmbH, Wiener Straße 99, 2514 Traiskirchen, Austria.   • If the equipment contains batteries or lamps, remove them before returning it, provided this is possible without destroying them, and return them separately. Tape the terminals of lithium batteries first.
